Abranghe
Abranghe is a nonprofit organization founded on April 28, 2010, through the initiative of patients and family members committed to improving the quality of life of people living with Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) in Brazil.
Mission
To promote the well-being of the HAE community through raising public awareness, providing specialized guidance, and facilitating qualified medical referrals. We offer support through information, guidance, and representation, ensuring that no one has to face this journey alone.
Our objectives
- Register patients, reference centers, and healthcare professionals working with Hereditary Angioedema (HAE)
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date database on HAE in Brazil
- Gather and analyze information to expand knowledge and visibility of the disease
- Guide patients and families in seeking diagnosis, medical follow-up, and access to treatment
- Promote and participate in events in Brazil and abroad to share information about HAE
- Establish partnerships to strengthen the association's initiatives
- Raise funds to sustain and expand its activities
- Represent the interests of people with HAE in Brazil
- Create regional chapters when needed to broaden outreach
